- Bell Island Gunsite
Overlooking Conception Bay and the ferry landing, this battery of coastal guns operated by the Newfoundland Militia or Home Defense was fired at an enemy submarine in World War ll.
- The Murals
To help revitalize the spirit of Bell Islanders a murals project was undertaken a few years ago. Throughout the town, painted on prominent buildings and structures are several large murals depicting the rich history of the island. The latest mural to be unveiled, "On the Hub" is 50 feet long and eight feet high. It is a real masterpiece. The detail will amaze you.
- The Seamen's Memorial
At Lance Cove at the southern end of the island, it commemorates those killed in the U-boat attacks of World War II.

- # 2 Mine Tour
Closed since 1949, the No. 2 Mine is now prepared for underground
tours. From the moment you walk in the door you begin to experience
the history of Bell Island and get a sense of pride Islanders take
in their community and their past.
- The Sunken Ore Wrecks
Scuba divers can visit the sunken ore carriers.

Ferry Schedule
Crossing time is approximately 20 minutes. However, this will vary with wind and sea conditions. Starting in February, and running sometimes as late as June, ice can also interfere with the ferry crossing.
